GoinGreen has commissioned a limited edition design to commemorate the close association of the G-Wiz with London. The London G-Wiz imagery, created by design collaborative ContainerPLUS, is a unique, fantastical and surreal celebration of London.
The limited edition London G-Wiz is a G-Wiz i, with design by ContainerPLUS, alloy wheels, leather interior, DAB radio and Bluetooth, it has a two year warranty, a top speed of up to 50mph and a range of up to 48 miles. The London G-Wiz, in a limited edition of 25, is £12,995 and it can be ordered from December for delivery in April 2011.
Philip Maria, general manager of GoinGreen says "London has taken the G-Wiz to heart and there are now well over 1,000 on the city's streets. GoinGreen is the pioneer of zero emissions electric driving in London, launching the G-Wiz in 2004 and the vehicle is now recognisably associated with the Capital and has raised London's profile as a leader in the adoption of electric vehicles. Having already done two design collaborations; with Eley Kishimoto and Ella Doran, we thought it about time that we commissioned a design that seals the relationship between G-Wiz and London".
