Insurance

All G-Wiz are Group 1, the lowest price insurance group. If you need assistance insuring your G-Wiz, we can suggest the following companies (we have no connection or commission arrangement, but most are used to insuring the G-Wiz). As the G-Wiz is a relatively new and rare vehicle, it is sometimes better to telephone than email these compaies. Please remember to quote the make as Reva and the model as G-Wiz ac drive or dc drive (sometimes this will appear as "ELECTRIC" or "ACD") and mention that the G-Wiz has an immobiliser - this lowers the fee.
Currently, the best quotes are being obtained from Direct Line.
In our experience, Elephant give the best customer support among the major brands.

Charging point(s).
G-Wiz can be charged from a standard 13 amp indoor or outdoor electric socket although we recommend that a 16 amp charging point is fitted by a qualified electrician. All sockets must be switchable (on/off); RCD (Residual Current Device) protected, that is, fitted with surge protection (a 'trip' device); and a circuit breaker must be fitted at the local distribution board. If you are in any doubt contact your electrician.
Servicing
All G-Wiz require a first service after one month or 500 miles, thereafter every six months or 4,000 miles, whichever is the sooner. G-Wiz can only be serviced and maintained by our specially trained engineers.
Option 1: Service Centre. Bring your G-Wiz to our Service Centre for two services in Southall. £419 inc VAT per annum.
Option 2: Mobile. Our engineers visit your designated home or off-road work location* to service your vehicle twice per year, saving you the hassle and cost of driving your G-Wiz to and from our Service Centre in Southall each time. £635 inc VAT per annum including 12 months free breakdown recovery worth £90. Available within London / M25 and a one hour drive time from Southall (see map below for service area details).
Outside our standard service area, extra travel charges apply. We charge £1.00 + VAT per mile for the round trip from GoinGreen (UB1 1DA) to the service address, calculated on Google Maps. To share travel costs, two vehicles can be serviced at the same address, at a maximum radius of 100 miles from GoinGreen; for one vehicle, the maximum radius is 200 miles.
Option 3: Collection & Delivery. Outside of the Service Areas you will need a trailer in order to bring your G-Wiz to our Southall Service Centre, or you can choose our collection and delivery service (price on request).
Reduce your servicing costs with our customer referral scheme. For every new customer purchasing a new G-Wiz introduced by an existing G-Wiz owner, GoinGreen will deduct £50 off the next service bill** of the existing owner, up to a maximum saving of 50%. Conditions apply.

Breakdown assistance / recovery
All new G-Wiz are covered by one year's 24 hour roadside recovery, thereafter the optional cost is £90 per year. Cover is arranged with the Environmental Transport Association (ETA) and includes roadside assistance to repair the vehicle, or vehicle recovery to a nominated destination. This exclusive service includes a night-time home recovery service with next day onward recovery to our Service Centre in Southall as standard.
Warranty
G-Wiz: 2 yrs/16,000 miles from new (whichever is the sooner) for all direct labour and parts, excluding consumables (brake pads, windscreen wipers etc and CD/radio), plus one year 24 hour roadside recovery / breakdown assistance. G-Wiz lead acid batteries are covered by a '1plus 1' warranty, first year full replacement parts and labour, second year pro rata parts only***. Replacement lead acid batteries are covered by a 12 month declining pro rata warranty. Digi-wrap body finishes are covered by an 18 month warranty.
Simply bring your G-Wiz to our workshop in Southall, where we will undertake warranty work and provide replacement parts covered by warranty free of charge. Alternatively one of our engineers can attend your G-Wiz at your location for a call-out charge of £50 plus VAT within the service area. Outside of this area it is by quotation. Conditions apply.

After you have purchased:
MOT for G-Wiz over 3 years old
All vehicles over three years old from the date of first registration require an annual MOT test. An MOT certificate confirms that at the time of the test, without dismantling, the vehicle conforms to the minimum acceptable environmental and road safety standards required by law. It does not mean that the vehicle is roadworthy for the life of the certificate.
Whilst you can take your G-Wiz to any approved MOT station, we can recommend to carry out the MOT together with a service at GoinGreen's workshop.

Re-sale of your G-Wiz
We provide a re-sale facility to all G-Wiz owners via this website. We warranty check all vehicles being sold via the G-Wiz site (essential with EVs), which guarantees the vehicle to prospective purchasers as a Used Approved G-Wiz.

Loan vehicles
When available, we can provide a loan G-Wiz whilst yours is at our Service Centre. A small daily charge is made for this.

* Within London / M25 and a one hour drive time from our Service Centre in Southall. A flat driveway or garage on hard ground (not gravel or dirt) away from other moving vehicles with 3 x 3 m of space is required. Public car parks are NOT suitable for servicing or warranty work. Where applicable, a minimum 6'4" headroon is required for access by our engineers' vans.
** Discounts authorised upon receipt of full customer payment for new vehicle.
*** For example, if a battery fails within 12 months, there is no charge for replacement. If a battery fails after 15months, then 15/24 of the replacement battery cost is chargeable plus labour.
