Less than 2p per mile Fuel Costs

The G-Wiz requires roughly 10KWs of electricity to charge fully which can cost 54 pence (npower juice E7 tariff). This equates to around 40 miles range per charge and hence 1.35p per mile. Compare this to your average efficent petrol engine which may manage 40 mile per gallon, which at todays petrol price may cost 12p per mile (£4.50/gallon). The fuel saving for an electric vehicle can be significant.

Safety - Reva Electric Car Company have introduced a new independently crash tested* quadricycle safety package for the G-Wiz featuring increased front and side impact protection, a strengthened space frame, a collapsible steering column, a hill rolling restraint feature, plus new front disc brakes that deliver a 30% improvement in performance.

*Quadricycles such as the G-Wiz are regulated primarily by weight and power output (400 kg without batteries and 15kW respectively). As low speed vehicles designed for use on congested roads(Transport for London data show average traffic speeds of 9 mph - December 2007), crash testing is not a part of the regulatory approval process, although the 2008 G-Wiz i incorporates a safety package and has been succesfully independently voluntary frontal crash tested for city speed driving conditions at 25 mph by ARAI (the Automotive Research Association of India) - see photo above.

** All new G-Wiz are covered by a 2 year / 16,000 mile (whichever is the sooner) parts and labour guarantee. Lead acid batteries are covered with a '1 plus 1' warranty, with the first year full replacement parts and labour, the second year pro rata parts only e.g. if a battery fails in month 14 then 14/24 of the parts cost is payable plus the labour charge. Replacement batteries are covered on a 12 month declining pro rata basis. Lithium-ion battereis carry a full warranty for 3 years. Consumable items (windscreen wiper blades, brake pads etc and CD / radios) are not covered under warranty. Digi-wraps are covered with an 18 month warranty. Full details on request.

Pre-specified G-Wiz i are manufactured with cut-outs for a radio / CD and speakers, so GoinGreen add the JVC DAB radio / CD / mp3 player and speakers as a standard extra when ordering. If you would prefer not to have this please 'Spec your own' G-Wiz.
