It's a 28mile round trip and in my new ac drive, if I drive with care, I can do my journey on one charge! Every day we load it up with school bags, lunch boxes, and my 2 children, sometimes they have friends home for tea, and then the car is full to capacity. Otherwise it still feels roomy enough for the long journey. The children only want to be in the electric car. Preferred car by whole family! 'Well, I have to say I am actually mightily impressed with the G-Wiz ac drive - to begin with you don't think it could really be that different - after all, it's the same car, isn't it? Well, yes it is BUT - for a start, it's a LOT smoother - and the power take-up is MUCH more instant, MUCH less jerky AND it's a lot quieter. The sound of the motor itself is a bit more "grown-up" - can't describe it better than that, it's just a subjective reaction. And the "re-charging on over-run" feature is REALLY nice. AND the brakes are REALLY smooth - no "grabbing" from the regenerative braking mechanism which the dc seems prone to. Altogether a lot smoother and somehow more sophisticated and grown-up as a driving experience. I can recommend it without hesitation."
