GG1. Sales and Marketing Executive. £18k to £20k + commission, full-time.

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a results-driven self-starter with fresh ideas and stacks of enthusiasm to help us shape the sales and PR end of the business. You will be environmentally motivated and passionate about driving the EV revolution forward. Confidence, eloquence and literacy are vital. Ideally you will have some awareness of the electric vehicle marketplace, the influences of government policy on sales, and the challenges facing prospective electric vehicle owners.
We are not a typical car company and we are not looking for typical car industry staff. We sell direct to customers with no dealers, no showrooms, no advertising, no brochures and no 'car salesmen'.
You will be able to work alongside the rest of the team with a minimum of supervision, on your own initiative, and with good attention to detail.
The role is based in our office and workshop facility in Southall. Normal hours of work are 8.00am to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility for promotional events. Pay will comprise of basic salary plus commission depending on qualification and experience.

GG2. Service Advisors. £20k to £22k, full-time.


We have a vacancy for a Service Advisor. The role is in our After sales section, reporting to the General manager as one of a team of four. Main duties:
Customer liaison - answering telephone calls, responding to emails and to voicemails to assist customers with their needs from booking a service to solving a problem. Diary and workflow management of workshop and mobile engineers, drivers and test-drivers, using our in-house software system. Managing and fulfilling orders, stock tracking and monthly reporting. Financial management - issuing invoices and reminders, chasing debts.
Personal attributes required: friendly, good use of english (verbal and written), well organized, passionate about environmental issues, attention to detail, calm under pressure, like solving customer problems, capable of responding quickly and also of acting proactively to deliver excellent customer service.

 

GG3. Workshop Engineer £20 - 24K, full time


GoinGreen has a vacancy for a workshop engineer, this is a new role in a team dedicated to servicing and repairing the ever increasing fleet of G-Wiz vehicles. The position requires previous experience working in a commercial workshop as well as a enthusiasm to understand new technologies and systems.
The engineers main duties include routine servicing of G-Wiz vehicles, diagnosis of customer reported mechanical problems as well as detailed diagnosis and repair of G-Wiz batteries. These duties are conducted in a dedicated workshop with a team focused on continual improvement. With experience the candidate will be expected to managed his own commitments to finishing work and liaison with service advisors.
Personal attributes required: Friendly enthusiastic individual who can operate well within a team of mixed background and ability. Ability to respond positively to time pressure is required as well as a constant appetite to learn.


GG4. Co-Driver £6.50/hour

The position of Co-Driver at GoinGreen is a varied and hands-on job, selling and delivering vehicles, acting as the public face of the company and helping out behind the scenes.

Your main duties will include:
- Taking customers on test drives. This requires punctuality, presentation, good people skills, enthusiasm and a high level of product knowledge. You will be expected to take initiative e.g. to liaise with your customer if you or they are unavoidably late.
- Delivery of new vehicles. This includes a lengthy handover process to ensure the new owner has a sound understanding of the operational and maintenance requirements of the G-Wiz. It also includes inspection and preparation of the vehicle before delivery.
- Occasional events and media opportunities. The G-Wiz attracts attention as the world's first and most successful commercial electric vehicle; you will be an ambassador for the company at all times.
- Some office work, including following up test drives and other sales interest, among various other duties.
Your personal attributes:
- You will be passionate about environmental issues and enthusiastic about the product and the business. As more opportunities develop in this growing industry, we look to promote from within where possible.
- You will be punctual, well-presented and articulate.
- You will be thorough and show good attention to detail, taking responsibility for the condition of new vehicle deliveries.
- You must be over 21 years of age and hold a full UK driving license with no more than 6 penalty points. Being licensed to drive a van and trailer is helpful but not essential.
